Default New saxo new problems

Right today i purchased a 2000 gold vts

86k
mot til july
tax til feb
lowered and k&n filter the only real mods.

all in £450

drove it home from london today and the engine and gearbox are spot on.

will need brakes refurbing but i can do that over the winter as its going on track next summer and wont be driven until then.

2 small problems that really did my nut in on the 3 hour drive home.

1. leaking roof, the water is running down the from a pillar (inside) im guessing sun roof?

2. is play in the gear stick its not terrible but to much for my liking.

sure il be finding more problems along the way but any help on these would be great for now.

cheers

Sun roof leaking is a common problem with saxos, if your not arsed about using it just seal it shut ? if your wanting to use it just look for a replacement.

Play in the gearstick can be something simple like warn linkages.
