Guten Tag everybody
I do not own a Saxo, although after my experience I am considering one
Crossing the Dutch/German border in Venlo/Kaldenkirchen on the A61 (general direction Koblenz) about two weeks ago, I was overtaken by five (?) Saxos sporting stickers and racing mods.
I was on my black and yellow 1988 BMW R80GS with big aluminium boxes, German license "VIE GQ 80", wearing a silver open-face helmet and leather jacket (black, of course!

)
At first I was only struck with the racey cars and the British plates, noticing two blokes in each of the cars, at least one of them filming.
Then I got the idea, and as the drivers were going pretty fast, but incredibly calm and safe, I started racing them for about six miles before I had to get off the Autobahn at Viersen exit.
(I had a bit of compassion with my bike as well. I never drive it that fast, especially throught the 100-km/h-bit we were doing with about 150 km/h...

)
I joined this forum only to find the guys, thank them for the nice race, get to know what they were up to and MAYBE see the footage of me on my bike.
My name is stefan sauer, I am 47 years old and a pychiatric nurse.
My wife and I live in Viersen and we own a 1975 Rover P6B, a Heinkel Tourist, a KTM LC4 and above BMW.
I am SO dumbstruck that I cannot recall ANY details of the encounter, I am not even sure about the number of cars or passengers. Never forgotten anything car/bike-related in my life before...
Can you find out who I met?
DANKE!!!
