i am gonna do it!!! i have a mark 2 car but it has the mark one engine i think. it is a 2000 vtr any my mate has a 2002 and his airbox is different. i know i need a mark one engine but what do i do about the keypad for the immobiliser? also are the exhaust ports the same on a vtr as vts? i have a 4-2-1 manifold and would like to put that on there.cheers:

Two types of silver top engine one is 90bhp one is 98bhp (2001 onwards)

That would explain the difference in airboxes

The manifold wont fit a VTR off a VTS (visa versa)

To change engine from yours to a VTS depending on how many plug ECU you have will to change the loom (I think)

Single plug to single plug = straight swop
Single plug to different plug = new loom

I'm almost certain please feel free to correct

use the same plug loom as what your car is already fitted with otherwise it'll be a wiring nightmare. ie, 1 plug - 1 plug, 3 plug - 3 plug

cant use the same manifolds either.
