Default VTS track car

Picked up a VTS couple of weeks ago with the view to making it a track car.

Car needed a few bits done when I got it, so first things first, since getting my hands on it I've done the drivers side driveshaft, cv joint, front strut and replaced the after market wheels that were on it with some 205GTI ones.

Done a bit of stripping out today

On the look out for a roll cage, steering wheel, shocks, bucket seats, induction kit and exhaust........

I also managed to pick up some 306GTI/Xsara VTS front calipers from a breakers yard which I've cleaned up and sprayed, these aren't fitted yet.

Here's a few pics

Lets hope it sees some tracks and not just a track show car! Less whore stuff and more functional items for me!

Sweet, how much is a cage from yourself?? Which exhaust do you have??

I'm doing this as a project so I'm looking to do it with whatever spare funds I can muster up and not miss.

Cheers, you can pm me the prices, cheers

Just to update this.

I've fitted a few parts over the last few months and stripped out as much as I can to get the car ready for track.

What's go onto it so far

GAZ coilovers
OBD quickshift
IMAXLE refurbed axle
KAM racing exhaust
Supersprint midsection (decat)
Janspeed 4-2-1 manifold
266 brake setup (Ferodo ds2500)
Braided lines
Simota aeroform2 induction kit
Wishbones
Drop links
Powerflex full bush kit inc lower engine mount
Dual fan setup
106 GTI mirrors
OMP boss kit and aftermarket steering wheel
OMP upper and lower (not fitted yet) strut brace

First full track day in it is this Friday. However the car is in the garage as its pulling to the left on throttle, also the dual fan I fitted is not kicking in causing the car to spit coolant out the cap and the rear brakes are locking up before the front so hopefully they can be sorted before Friday

I have a spoox oil breather silicone hose kit to go in along with Ferodo DS 2500 rear pads and an Sparco sprint seat to go in. If the car is ready tomorrow evening I could fit a set of R888' onto it

Few pics
