somethings fucked up with my photoshop(i think). When i try to lasso something, ie follow the line of a rub strip, the line will wonder off a few pixels

so it aint on what i want and sometimes comes ut wonky

it doesnt happen all the time ,but it makes it a fuck nightmare to do a chop and allways comes out shit

so gamesmaster can you help me??

only thing i can think of is that its my mouse.Just got a new optical mouse so im wondering if its that??

when your using the lasso check the feather number on the top tool bar it should be 0 or 1 pixels otherwise when you make your selection it will round it off

sounds like you have changed it to the magnetic lasso,right click on lasso and change it back.

oh just re read it, it sounds like you are using the magnetic lasso tool, this will follow and edge but not that well, if you click on the lasso tool in the left menu bar and hold it you will get the option of polygonal lasso, try using that one.

yeah thats what i thought a first but it aint ,the feather is 0 aswel.

must be this mouse it seems to be jerking around abit when im using it.Just got the bastard aswel.been messing around with the speed and other stuff but still the same
