Squeaking noise on acceleration.
Hi all,
I own an 02' 1.1L Forte which has recently started making a squeaking noise.
The noise definitely isn't coming from the front of the car but more underneath. It only lasts for a second and its pretty much each time I press down on the gas pedal, I believe it could be every time the car is powered forward as this doesn't occur when the car has built some speed and I gear up in to 4th/5th but more through 1st/2nd/3rd.
I have gone over a number of speed bumps and I get no sound, so my guess is that it isn't the springs but something else?
I will try to get a recording so you get a more accurate idea of the sound I'm talking about.
Thanks for your time, I hope you can come up with some idea's as to what is causing this.

it sounds like the rear shocks...
But long shot aswell, could be the exhaust rubbers wriggling about?

Zorst flange ? Mine sounded like a creaky floorboard when it was flexing with no grease on it.
Grease springs on flange, wire brush all dust and crap off and you're sorted.

what this man said.
where the downpipe joins the centre section, you have a wirey type gasket.
it could be flexing on that causing the intermittent squeak
