new steering wheel... - Saxperience

I want to get a sporty looking steering wheel, but also want to keep my airbag (sounds tarty i know, but after my crash i kind of thought what injuries would i have/had if i didnt have one)... is it possible to get one?

Ideally i would like one that looks like the zetec s ones, black, with some colour (mine would be silver or grey).

if your car was manufactured with an airbag in it, and you put a "sporty" steering wheel in it without an airbag, you will fail MOT! so your doing right looking for one with an airbag already fitted. You can get them, just not sure where from, i'll have a search for you and see!!

I see, wasnt aware it would fail the MOT. Ive never seen airbag ones advertised... do you know if its possible to get it trimmed to how i want?

dunno exactly mate, i was looking at getting one for mine but was told by momo when i rang to order it, i asked if i would have problems with MOT and he told me then! but found this off a 106 GTI if it helps click me
