Default clutch problem?

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and need some help.

I purchased a Saxo 10 days ago and everything was running fine. Yesterday I realised that when I changed gear there was a high pitched screeching sound every time I pushed on the clutch to change gear. The rest of the car runs fine with no problems..

Im no mechanic and was wonering if any of you on here could help.

cheers

Dazza

its your clutch release bearing more than likely if it only happens when you press the clutch. Means a gearbox off job so a clutch change makes sense
