My JDM 92 EG6 Civic long term WIP
Lost the love for the ATR so decided to go and swap it for yet another import EG6 Civic SiR2 1.6 DOHC VTEC with the 170bhp B16a.
The new Civic is a 1992 on 107000km or 65000 miles and standard except for some 15" PIAA alloys, open cone filter and a backbox but will be reverted back to stock asap.
Some pics

EG6 with a B16a is always a potential cracker, very nice car. But you got rid of the ATR for it?! Hmm...
I suppose the civic will be better for the Raw-fun factor, but I would have only gotten rid of the ATR for something 4WD and turbo'd personally.

I know what you're saying Jazz but I honestly miss the buzz of my old EG6 too much and i feel I'll not be able to move on till I've got the project out of my system.

Reverting back to stock... And then what? Going by your last EG, surely it won't stay that way?
It's essentially the JDM variant of a VTi isn't it? Just with the B16A opposed to the A2?

Yeah this is the JDM version of the VTi.
I intend to revert exterior to stock, keep the interior in and then sorting coilovers and handling and then there is just the small matter of the 200whp 1600cc build that's underway.

Looks good, little sleepers these are.
I'm really wanting a EK9 CTR at the mo... But BHP wise there isnt much in it from your car & a stock EK9... but with abit of difference in price to buy!

Yeah man only 15bhp in it but the EK9 is heavier, on the plus side the EK9 is seam welded as standard.
Yeah lots of engine mods planned 200whp doesn't come easy without some form of forced induction, but power isn't everything, handling and stopping and more important to start off with for me. The engine work will take a while as i need to find a combination that works harmoniously in order to get the best gains across the range for the application I need and also to keep day to day reliability.

Just been to Honda today to order some bits.
I've ordered:
Floor mats
Side decals (DOHC VTEC)
Oil filler cap
Bonnet arm holder
Rear window lifting hook
Cassette player
Also bought the emergency flare off a mate too which I'll be picking up on Sunday.
I've also booked it in at a spray shop for a full correction and spray.
Next on the list is OEM optioal extra alloys.
