obd2 problem
This morning i had a bluetooth obd2 adapter arrive for the torque app. The device will connect but says failed to connect to ecu... has anyone used one of these and found a solution to this? Ive checked all settings and they seem ok...

It only connects with 3 plug if I Remeber. Most before are lexia diagnostics.

Before 2001 the protocol is lexia,whilst the plug physically fits it won't communicate.

Juat been looking on amazon, theres a cable 'lexia 3 30 pin to 16 pin obd adapter'... would i buy this, plug that into my car and then my obd2 bluetooth adapter to that and everything works ok??

Nope won't work. I have tht cable aswell and obd link. Needs the lexia full setup unfortunately.

Ah well worth a pop. Emailed the place i bought it from and said it was incompatible, they said heres your refund.. i then asked how i could send it back and they said keep it...

Hi mate, using same adaptor, no problems here.
Saxo 1.1 02 Plate.
Simply plug into Passenger well plug, turn key, start Torque, connect to ECU, start car, stats appear.
Thought this was standard OBD2 Protocol from 01 onwards?
