Default having an issue removing the boot bar

Hi ive been trying to take what I think is called the boot bar off just above the number plate, I took the plastic cover off inside the boot and took the nuts off either side which seems to have loosened it, but its still stuck on solid in the middle, how do I go about getting this off? Thanks
