Default Double Detail of VTR and LCR (loads pics!)

(This has been posted before but is better in this section)

Dudes,

It was a lovely day yesterday, so my me and my bro commenced battle with a long awaited double detail of my VTR and his LCR. After a long week my car had developed some horrendous country crap on the side of the car, horse/farmer dirt you name it. The LCR wasn’t looking it’s best either L so we cracked open the following products J

But first the dirt:

Then the clean:

1) First came the foam spray consisting of Megs NXT wash and CG maxi suds II

My brother demonstrating the spray

2) Left the suds on for a bit to loosen up dirt and rinsed off.

Side by side

3) Next a nice wash using Megs Mirror Glaze shampoo & conditioner, lambs wool mitt and two bucket method.

Some lovely bubbles

4) Rinse a second time with some nice Megs Last Touch making drying easy peasy

LCR looking good already:

5) Dry down with super absorbent waffle weave towel.

6) Next applied some CG M-Seal on the whole car at once and left for 30 mins to do its magic.

7) While all that was happening we cleaned the alloys with mitt, dried them off and dressed the tyres with some Megs Endurance gel.

8) This was easy, buffed off CG with micro fibre plush towel for wet finish and the sun finally came….

The VTR:

The LCR:

Comments welcome.

Uve done an awesome job there on both cars!!

It has to be said though there is no paint better than black for giving a mirror like image. This one is stunning:

Cheers guys true the black is the best colour to get the shine perfect, mine does have a mirror shine at certain angles but is mainly a glossy finish, which i'm happy with. I'm taking it too a guy in leeds for full detail soon.
