What does everyone do for a living? + smoking
What does everyone do for living? I'm a web developer and my daily work is programming in PHP & MySQL and as of 3 or 4 months ago I started with Ruby on Rails.
I love my job, couldn't ask for a better job -- mainly because (without being big headed) programming is the one thing I can get my head round pretty well, have been said I am a talented programmer despite being a junior programmer.
What do you guys do? Do you enjoy your job?
And now for smoking, I gave up 2 weeks ago but find myself smoking at work to get away from my computer for a break, I usually have a smoke every hour and a half - two hours so that I can get back and concentrate on my work more. What about you guys?

I'm a legal secretary, an avon representative and i do some cleaning aswell.
as for smoking yes i smoke but only about 8 a day. it's about time i quit actually.

I work part time on a little website incargear.com just adding products, doing invoices etc and i work a a BP garage part time!
Do a full time ICT course at college and a part time business course in the evenings.
Only smoke when im out on the piss, prefer cigars lol

I work in IT, i tend to follow the shit companys. Last job was wank, this just is just as bad. Im starting to think that maybe all IT jobs suck and should follow up something else now.

Some of you have some fat ass jobs!
I don't smoke on the weekends, now mainly because I am in my car but when I do my car this weekend I can see me smoking a good few as I find myself needing breaks. When I need a break I think about smoking.
Despite not being able to afford it now, with my new car and all.

Travel Agent - but currently applying for the police force as i've always wanted to do it.
Smoke - no - have done it - but usually when i am out on the town as drink and being in a social environment sets me off - but havent for months and months now.

I want to be a code junky, as I am just the graphics prat as of now.
But as I work for a school, there going to pay for a 5K 2 week UNI course to learn everything about dreamweaver. Which is good!

I'm a Trust Officer for one of the leading world Banks. Been working here for nearly 6 years now, but I'm in the middle of looking for a job somewhere else...... got offered one on Tuesday with quite a big pay rise, but I turned it down as it was for a law/solisitors firm in the middle of no-where and the people there seemed a bit toffy for my liking.
I gave up smoking at New Year... had 4 on my St Paddy's weekend away with the lads, but other than that I haven't had anymore!

Was a Web designer (PHP & MYSQL) liek you but not im a Route to market coordinator for MFI.
I love being a web designer but i couldnt find a big company who needed one and working for small companies is shit.
