today at work i was in this blokes house installing his new plasma, and he brings out a Ps3 all boxed and asks if i would set it up!

he had just brought it from america and also brought Fight Night Round 3. what a game!

the graphics are unbelieveable! the best console ever! so much better than the xbox 360,
i gave him a double player on it, was there for about an hour playing it!

ive now decided to get one! anyone else orderd one?

A shop at the metro centre, Gateshead has one in the window, not for sale as import. Seen it running a basket ball demo, mint graphics. Sony will sell them as soon as they hit the shops in march. Aswell as a games console, will be a very cheap blu-ray player

I know someone that can get PS3's for about £200 i think, before they come out in march. Not dodgy stuff either, straight from Sony.
Thinking about getting a few and selling them on eBay at a small profit

Sounds like a deal to me I dont think there that expensive in Japan its just when it hits our shores the prices trebles.

Gamespot.com did a comparison recently and said...

Know someone who goes over to Hong Kong alot and hopefully gunna get the new Canon EOS 400D, depnding on how much cheaper it is. Dont think the warranty would be valid if i brought it back here, would it?
Obviously get insurance on it tho.

I believe they are PAL versions.

A mate works for a promotions company and they are getting loads just to sell them off dirt cheap, hardly think it needs promoting though. Be alright if i can get them, he did say he could get them before xmas but that didnt happen :@

exactly they are both the same people should just stop talkn poo n pointless discussions on which console is better they are basically identical both got there own games the other doesnt have both got the same graphics yet sony took extra year and let u down for a year just to b on parr with xbox i know what id do with my well earned money if i didnt have either yet! pretty simple to me,

hmmmm buy a brand new saxo from dealer A for £4k with a nice somfy gearstick
oerrrr buy a brand new saxo from dealer B with a slightly different gear stick for £8k

its a pretty good console, but just a total copy of the 360 and the wii with its features

played them all.

the 360 wins hands down everytime.

ive seen a lot of reviews and each one give a differnt verdict some say that the playstation 3 is the best other the 360 i think it is all a matter of taste. but to be fair the price differance sways it for me.

most of the reviews for games got under 7/10 and about fight night 3, the 360s version got rated better graphics, owned.
