Splitting Lyrics & Music!
hi, does anyone know a program or something that can split the 'words' and the music up on a song....
so for example you could put the lyrics (words) over a different background song (music)
anyone?
it might not even be possible.

Not as such, the chances are you would need to get hold of a master of the song. So you can open a program such as cubase to copy the track the vocals were recorded too. Then move it into the other song.

I have a fair old Music Setup in my pad.
I have software/hardware setup that can remove the vocals to a good extent... but i have never come across the reverse.
You could in theory sample both tracks (one with vocals) then have some clever shiz remove all the waveforms that are the same... leaving you with the vocals.

provided you've got some software that can display music into waveform then I cant see a problem... I'm going to have a try.
