A mate of mine has a problem.

In his 106 Quiksilver, all of a sudden his horn, cigarette lighter and rear window demister all stopped working. He checked the fuse(s) and that seemed fine. I do remember there being a thread on here about particular things all going wrong at once and a fix for them but the problems noted on that thread are not all the same as the one my mate has.

So... does anybody know what might be the problem or how to try and identify the problem?

could be the igniton barrel mate.

mine went and the blowers, cig lighter, rear window heater, horn, power steering etc stopped working.

not sure it it will be the same, but worth looking into.

i had to replace the barrel, but you can sort it with a simple wire bypass.

i know that alot of things run through the ignition barrel on our cars. may be that ??????? lol

There almost identicle to the saxo, so I would presume its the same thing. Look in the stickied thread at the top of this section, should explain how to solve it.

Dan... The other thread is talking about two other problems as well as the rear window demisters. There's no mention of the horn or cigarette lighter. It also said that if those particular three problems haven't gone, then do not use that guide.
