its a job you can do yourself, more info on the car would be helpful, but basically, take liners out all round cut off rear bumper bracket and hammer/cut a few lips on the front

Blimey, so how come with my 16" they still rub with my fat arse of a brother in the back. They are 195/45/16 Is the 45 the reason?

Cut the bumper thing off and it still bloody rubs.

sorry to steal your thread english

I can tell you few small things that I have learn this past 3 days trying to pot my 15" on. Everything depends on your rims mostly. If you have 16" negative rims (one that is bending inside) you will have practically no problems fitting them on your car. Everybody told me that my 15" will fit on with no work done except for maybe bending the lip inside my rear arch. In my case (15" rims) this is not true (since my rims is not negative) so now I have to roll my entire rear arch, cut lip out, make new distance for my rims (since I cant buy one big enough) and order new longer screws if I want to fit them on . The guy that I talked to in shop didn't have enough knowledge so he fucked me for good but in few days I will pot them on. I like my new rims and tiers (+ I have already pay for them) so it will be worth of trouble. Hope that this helps a little.

what offset did you get bero?

Also Oz did you remove the arch liner as well?

im down about 65mm on 16's and i regularly carry four people in the car with all our football stuff and i dont get any rubbing whatsoever and i have removed the rear bumper bracket and trimmed the liner down adn stuck it slightly further back

Don't know exactly but beginning of rim (from tier) is going negative but heart of rim is slightly coming back to positive. Entire rim is negative but it turns out not enough because I need distance for my rims around 28mm to fit it on with no rubing. Hope that I have explain this OK

have a look at where its rubbing, if you cannot see where get some chalk and "colour" in around the inside of the arches. Go for a drive with your mate or mates in the car and get it to rub a little. Get the car back up and look at the arches and anywhere it has rubbed the chalk will have been taken off.

Obviously do this on a dry day

im only 16 but with my hard earned cash i bought myself a 1.1i

i live round the corner from r - tech so im getting my car dropped onto 17's then have the arches rolled for just over £100

while i wait its a hot choclate on the house so im well chuffed

the arch rolling service is one of the best in the country if not the best . . . . so if your not confident on doing it yourself get in toutch and its well worth the visit
