Default Gearbox?

Hi, Im new to forum, pretty good site for actual information for saxos

Ive owned 2 saxos, one white vtr T plate and now im on my V plate in blue (The round front version)

Problem is when i first brought my blue vtr i noticed that after about 20 min of driving the gear leaver felt allot stiffer to move and sort of squeeked like it was tight. Anyway shortly after the clutch went and i got a new one put in. After this the same thing occurs, it aint anything major, i do want to find out what it is. It just goes alittle stiff and driving when it isnt is such a pleasure. I just woundering if anyone has suffered the same problems at all? Just want to get the little bugger fixed to stop the stiff feeling wreaking my driving time...

Thanks, Jim

not heard it go stiff while youve been driving

normally stiff till the box warms up abit ...

could be something to do with the selection rods ... common problem ... only bout £30 from shitreon

but remember dont always get your parts from shitreon ... rip off mechants, best to befriend a good mechanic

Yeah i go a great mechanic, the main dealer are so crap!

We have a van at work they charged us nealry £600 to fit a new rad in our van! When we got it back it was cleaned too, im guessing they felt bad for ripping us off so they had it cleaned, what a joke...

could be the box on way out

could be the selectors sticking or hitting something
