id go for an alpine amp for the sub everything else seems great stuff
plus with this amp you save a bit and with v-power then you cant go wrong i bought one recently to power my 2 12s and i really cant fault them

you dont need the exact amount mate that amp is more than capable of the job, infact its probbly better getting a job a bit under powered as its less of a chance of blowing the sub

well have decided(sp) on my install i think am going to have both my Pioneer TS-W121SPL's 750rms each in one 6 cu:ft ported box running off 2 JBL: GTO-1201.1 Mono Amplifiers 800 rms each witch should give me about 140db and i will have my s50's running off a Audison SRX2 and i will be sound profing front and read door cards boot and if its easy my roof what you think?

You'd probably be better off buying a single larger amp. That kind of money will get you something decent, likewise half of it would get you a good amp secondhand, like a burning desire II.

sounds like a good plan mate, with the box make sure theres a partition in the centre so theres an enclosure for each sub
maybe be get an audison amp to power one of the subs and components and another amp for just the sub

It iwll set you back about £200

I think you may been looking at the BDI, the spec of the BDII is:
1 x 1200W @ 4 ohm (0.07% THD)
1 x 1750W @ 2 ohm (0.07% THD)
1 x 2000W @ 1 ohm (0.07% THD)
You say your main objective is streetbase, yet you have chosen RE's SQ oriented model sub. If you're after streetbase i'd suggest looking at the SX12 (or even better, the 15"). That along with the BDII would be much better for streetbase than the setup you have chosen.
So long as you set the amp up properly and go easy on the gains, you could run the BDII at 1 ohm to power the SX12 (giving it 2000w RMS).

was going to get the SX12 but not sure how much better it would be for the extra £70 plus its 400 rms more than the se so would have to spend more on an amp should have my sound proofing this week might make a post with loads of pics going to to both skins on doors should be fun

The SE will be more than perfect for the average needs . If on the otherhand you even have a niggling feeling you'll want to upgrade in the future, then do it now; it'll cost you a fortune by changing it all again.
