Smoked jewels are fine mate. got some and they look class. Not sure about front lights. some people have done them and upgraded the bulbs. Might be doing the same aswell.

yes mate you should be ok, the front lights the surround should be black but the reflectors, ie behind the bulb should be left alone
as for the rears you do get a reflector with smoked jewels, so just fir the standard rears for MOTs, shouldnt really be a problem as ive never been puller for mine

As long as the rear lights have red reflectors that still reflect- then they are legal. As for tinted headlights- i dnt think theres any legal requirement- But you'd probs be hassled by the old bill.

My rear lights are about as dark as ones above and ive never had any problems with police to be honest. And ive been pulled a few times and they have never said a thing about them. As in the day you cant see reflectors anyway and at night you have lights on.

They say you're not allowed to diminish your rear lights in any way so the ones posted above ^ ^ ^ would be classed as illegal? The Ultra smoked ones from Ultra are road legal and like Predator said... they do (or should) come with a separate reflector as they're not built into the actual light unit. I myself have never had to put one on and nor did I bother when it came to the MOT and that was when I took it to Citroen.
