Pressure washing engine bay
my mate pressure washed his engine bay yesterday (gower67) and its come up well clean, im thinking of doing it
makes it so much cleaner gets rid of loader shit
think its good idea?

if cover all electronics, dont blast it too hard. be best using gunk then rinsing it off with a hose to be honest! imo i wouldn't do it just incase

Cover your engine in a strong degreaser and then get yoru mate sat in car and rev the car to 3000rpm and keep it there as the car will want to cut out when pressure washing it also this helps evaporate the water quicker.
After you have finished take it for a run to burn off all the water

cover all main electrics in plastic bags
spray on degreaser
leave to work in might need to brush to get some stubon stains
hose off
may need to repeat if missed

i used AutoGylm Engine cleaner and it works quite good, you need to use a brush on the stubburn stains though

i helped a friend jet wash his clio and it ended up not beinga great idea
