Default getting a 4-2-1 manifold fitted tomorrow, what manifold gasket do i need???

getting a new 4-2-1 raceland manifold fitted tomorrow to my 1999 MK1 VTS and alot of people have said to get a new gasket fitted with it. How much are they abd where should i get it from???

citroen do them mate or any car parts place can get you one, you may need new manifold studs aswell

you shudnt need to get one, they dont tend to wear that much..

I got mine fitted at a custom exhaust place, fitted a new gasket etc and made it fit perfect..

The gasket that joins the bracket between the end of the Manifold and the beging of the exhaust system or cat depending on layout.

Main dealer for gaskets I always recommend, Manifold gasket is under £3 or £4 I remember correctly, not sure about the next one.

I left my old gasket on mate! They are metal and dont seem to wear away all that much! I have left mine on anyway and it's fine!

just got a new one from the main dealer. Get it back home and notice that the holes arent the same as the raceland manifold, they are a little out compared to the manifold. Is this normal??

Also buy new studs and bolts, will set you back about £4. Re-using the old ones is almost impossible
