Axel stands.....
well basically i have 2 axel stands and im needing to check something out under the car with the exhaust. Just i duno where to put them under the car and would i need to jack up both sides at once them put them under or can i do it one at a time?

put them on the jacking points, start to jack up car make sure theres enough room to put the axel stand in next to it, then when its high enough put axel stand in and then undo jack, then do the same on the other side

so jack up the front and put it under the rear jacking point? then same the other side.
while someone is here....the heatshield is towards the middle of the car correct?

why is it a bodge? you have plenty of room, used citroen jack and had the axel stand under there at the same time, had plenty of room to do it

by a trolley jack and jack the car up from the middle of the rear support. Then axle stand under each jacking point and bobs your uncle

Thats were i put mine..., just jack one side up and wap an axel stand under.. then do the other side.

nope dont put on drive shafts bit of a daft place if you ask me
jack up in normal place
and look at the anti roll bar and were it conects to chassis put them under there

lol I think you missed the whole point of the thread. He knows where to jack it but he wants to know where to jack when you are using axle stands.

It’s a bit of a bodge trying to jack it up and support it by just using the jacking points it can be hard to get it high too
There are some decent jacking points I use on the front... I’ve just taken a pic but I don’t know how to put it up?
You can jack it from the axle at the rear
