Right i went down to Milton Keynes last night to see my mates 206 GTi as he's done alot of changes to his motor and we went to the Cruise very busy last night also I haven't been down there for months another reason for going.

Well my car was parked in Burger King and i was speaking to me mate in MacDonalds when a Police car was slowly driving about and i told me mate to go and see if he is looking at my car and the POLICE were :mad: reason i have tints.
I saw the police pull over and i waited till he moved as soon as i saw him going i ran over to me CAR put the windows down and went to go but POLICE were back :mad::mad:
they followed me then pulled me and said

have you had your window tints tested tonight i said no why thats office and all i hered was i have nothing better to apart from stopping people and checking cars out rather than getting real crimals LOL

He follow me to this car the people tested the car and the legal limited is 70% of light i had 8.4% very low LOL

I had to take the tints off there and then or my car gets taken away bolloxs i thought so i had to take them off :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

fucking bastards, i hate them like u said they have nothin better to do, u shud have to said have u not got any real police work to do rather than bein really sad and pullin sum1 over who has spend alot of money on makin my car look good, i wud compain, u payed for the tints so they shud gi u some money i wyd ave kicked off big time fuck arseholes they need a good kickin the police do!

I had sum follow me i was at sum traffic lights last nite and they went past goin the other way starrin at me as they pasted! I dint see but they turned round, the lights changed and i floored it lol, nothin they can do dint go over the speed limit so they where a car in between us as soon as they were outta sight i floors it up a side road and leeged it to me mates! 10mins later just about to set off again and there they were comin down the roasd givin me the eye they must ave bin lookin for me haha still they cudnt do owt so i stayed til they went then went to rotherham! lol

unlucky mate same almost happened to me but i made a dash for it because someone warned me police were checking windows

u payed for the tints so they shud gi u some money - deano..... this is the same as saying... if u had a gun/knife or watever confiscated they shud pay u coz u bought it...

LOL@Jonno.
Keep it legal and there is no problem.

However, some machines fail non tinted windows due to faults etc.

You could try asking them to prove that the machine has no faults by getting them to test their own vehicle and look at the results.

There are cases of ppl being able to get off like that.

bit new to this i have tints on the back and the side windows the front windows are tinted less than the back but they all passed a m.o.t so whats the script on this one?

I had a Severnside sticker on my front screen, passed the 1st mot at citroen fine, 2nd mot at smaller family garage they told me to remove it or the car wouldn't pass!

It just depends on the people. How shitty they feel at the time. When i had my gt turbo i had italic number plates for over a year, never got pulled. Got some for my dads car he was going to work, the police pulled him at 3 in the morning, couldn't find anything wrong with the car and told him to remove the plates or face a £1000 fine per plate!
