Question morning all help needed

Hi all anyone know if its easy to fit door pins onto the door i have bought some and want to put them on but it says that i need to cut the old ones off please help dont wanna make a right bodge job of it

is there a how to do thing at all

the pins that hold the door on? if yes, they should screw out a bit then knock them out with a hammer and chisel.

not the door pins its the pins that move up and down when you lock the car

they can be taken off without cutting them but i think it became harder to do that on mk2's could be talking mince though.
when u take them off i suggest leaving them off an just fill the hole in.
