Seats
Right i realy want a set of buckets but i want use of the back seats, is there tilting subframes you get? and if so where from?

you can get reclining bucket seats, and im not sure about the frames. i think you might be able to but im not sure.

tilting frames are useless, the seat hits the roof before any decent amount of clearance is gained, see the FAQs tab at the top

yea i have found omp ones but no cobra ones. They mite be enought hough scott to squeeze people in the back.

unless you get recliners all you can do is pull one forward one backwards and let people squeeze through the middle, you have to think about where you will mount the harnesses though!

im nt puttin harness in it. I reckon i mite mount the passenger one slightly further forwards so jst let peple squeeze into the back and if they carnt then fcuk them they can walk

The subframes will both mount in the same places both sides. If you wanted to do that you would have to drill the subframes. I wouldnt do this as this is what is holding your seat in the car do you want to weaken it? If you want buckets and want people to get in the back then get recliners, if you want propa buckets get ones that dont recline strip the back out and have harnesses FTW. I had buckets that didnt recline they were real nice but not comfy on long motorway journeys!

if you wanna put harness in my mate used the exsisting seat belt mount for his and they have a buckle behing the seat as well so snaps of ther if you want it to !

I mite just strip theback and carpet it. I wouldnt have harnesses anyway. they do my head in on the road.

If they recline they are not bucket seats imo.

Yea bin thinking tonight at work n i dnt think im gna strip this, jst put recliners in because im considering buying a run dwn mk2 vts and rebuliding it up into a track/road slag so i will need a subtable car to drive.
