i installed an amp, sub and 2 6x9's in my m8s VTR.
amp- Mutant 4channel, 4x75 watts
sub- JBL 1000 watts
Speakers- Pioneer 330watts
and am amp wiring kit (60 amp) (i fink its a 4 guage kit)
the problem is that wen the engine starts there is a whinning noise comin from the speakers. the noise changes pitch wen u press down on the accelorator. i have tried 2 different locations for the ground cable, but still hasnt fixed the problem.
any1 got any advice plz??

Could be alot of problems
1. did you run all the cables down the same side of the car? Should seperate the signal & the power. Did you run the power cable beside the main loom or any off the ignition wires?
2.Does your head unit have an aux in? Some cheaper headunits have aux in on the front and are cat for noise, try and turn it off.
3.Might be a dirty earth, clean it with a wire brush and try again.
If all else fails, theres loads of products that can help, like a RCA noise filter or ground loop isolater, or a noise supressor, i think autoleads do all of these and there pretty cheap too.

Soundst to me like that the whinning noise you have got is the alternator interfering with the radoio/CD player. You need an interference supressor, which you can pick up from Halfords for about a fiver.

You need a ground loop isosator you can get them from autoleads. Mutant amps are wicked i gave 3 2x80 rms amps 1 on my infinity componant and a set of pioneer tse 1075(try them in the rear panels) and 1 on each pioneer tsw 305c in a custom made box from boxcleaver. all i need now is to sound deaden the hole car.
