Default Knocking noise from driverside front wheel

i've started to hear a knocking noise from the front driver side wheel. it only happens when im turning left and sometimes when im parkin up and im goin slowly on full lock. anybody had this problem before?

have a look behind the wheel is there a grease like substance spilled over it

yeh the gator was off so i re-greased and put it back on but the sound hasnt gone?

yeah you may have re-greased it an sealed it up again but if damage was done to the cv joint then its still fooked greased up or not
another thing is as has been mention is your driveshaft may now be fecked

i wouldnt bother with citroen to be honest, and good mechanic will be able to inspect it for you, will probs need to be taken appart though to get to the bottom of it so expect a small labour charge. it sounds to me liek driveshaft has gone. should be too expensive to do though.

Well I paid a mechanic about £90 to supply and fit a driveshaft and he noticed the wishbone was buggered too and got a refurbed one for £35 and he fitted it no extra charge. That is on a 1.1 though, not sure if the process is any different on a furio. Best bet will be to phone around and get some quotes
