boston s50s are the best entry level components in a 13cm fitment imo
as said there going to sound a lot better amped up so get saving for one, about 70 quid should get you a decent amp to power them, running them off the headunit will be ok for now
as for sound deadining it is recommended too
dynomat and brown bread are the best on the market
ive used ivanhoe, tbh i cant tell the difference, its cheaper and does the job, you will probablies only need one and a half rolls for the 2 doors, do as much of it as you can though that includes the outer skin and inner skin if you can get to them

yes mate components will make it sound really good, i assure you
whats the spec of your amps, just give me the codes of them or links if you can
The headunit i really think sony are crap, sorry just had a few and there not very good, cds jumping but if your using a MP3 player you should be ok
id keep to clarion, pioneer and alpine for headunits, just personal expierience as ive had a few headunits in my time

If you don't mind me asking how are you going to connect an MP3 player to your head unit with no USB or Ipod connection point.
