Default Bit confused?

Every Sunday I go and visit my parents who live in East Ham which is in London so I have to cross the Dartford crossing and then go down the A13.

Anybody that knows that junction will agree its quite a nice open bit of road which when quite is quite nice to get up to the national speed limit on anyway, I normally like to blast up the slip road from the M25 roundabout onto the A13 and settle down and plod along around 70mph-80mph, not really interested in driving in a straight line fast unless somebody comes up behind me anyway . . .

So I join the London bound A13 and I see a White GTi/Rallye/QuickSilver kitted 106 slightly mod'd, lowered headlight eyebrows so I put my foot down to get round a car before he arrives, before I know it hes right on my tailgate, so close I cant see his number plate, so I plant my foot where the carpet used to be and start to move off, still he's not budging (wont mention speeds as these days you can get introuble + Im not one for braging) but I cant shake him.

He ends up undertaking me using the slow lane with me still in the fast line, now what confuses me is Im not single seated, with not much in the car, a few choice breathing mods and yet he untook me pretty nipply and he was four up!

Now I dont claim to have the fastest S in the world but just wondering could a Cam'd 16v have left me like that?

Maybe it was my spoiler and mud-flaps that was causing drag, but I must say Im sure they all had a great laugh at my expense and I did feel abit . . . well . . .embrasded

Its just this 106 just seemed to have the extra legs on me for some strange reason, I mean the car was four up, had a show cage so it must have been well weighted down yet I could pull away from him.

If I could have catched him up I would have flashed hime down and asked him whats he running.

Eyebrows hurt . . .

Lexus Lights made me want to kill myself

It did seem quite noisy but never really hearing TB's that close I cant say for sure.

It seemed to be more exhaust noise to be honest Cloud, could a cam's 16valver be that more powerfull?

I mean I got a Green scoop, piper 4-1, sports cat and groupN style exhaust from cat back so I reckon I must be pushing 130bhp ish, surely all thats gota add 10bhp over standard?

Just same I could have asked the driver what he was running thats all
