quick question regarding leg press
for all the gym go-ers.. when doing leg presses do you lock your legs out when pushing the plate back up to its start position??

just keep you feet flat and stretch them right out mate, so yeah basically lock your legs and hold it there for a few seconds and back down

yeh lock out then allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the way back down pause, up and lock, pause, allllllllllllllllllllllll the way down.
9/10 people do leg press wrong and boast about the impressive weight they can do, the more weight they stack on the less distance they go with legs, its embarrising to watch

dont lock your knees. takes all the pressure off and doesnt make it very effective
you dont drop the weights after each bicep curl do you.

I thought it was good to lock out on leg press because for example, you can tense ur bicep with ur arm in any position. but with the quads you can, but if you lock ur leg while tensing you can feel a massive difference.

no no no. you shouldnt be locking your legs out atall mate because you taking the weight off your muscles so your joints are holding the weight instead which arent obviously as strong
