I like it, I like the exhaust too and have the same rear lights... I wouldn't have gone with 6x9's I'd have upgraded to 7x10's!!! Their bass response on an MDF shelf is remarkable.

Yep, looks so much better now. I have got the same JBL Sub, but got it for a box, not fitted it yet though! And I agree with the other, just make the 6 x 9 holes bigger and drop them into a bin!

some varied comments here, i not too keen on the 6x9's either but its a good set-up you got going, i personally wouldn't have put the sub in the shelf but looks good, all you need now is some fabric to cover the wood and your onto a winner there! Nice work

not the most covert audio install i have ever seen and the sub would sound MUCH better in a box facing the back of the car. i would have mounted the speakers from under the shelf and covered it with acustic carpet. sorry but not to my tast.

Looks smart.
1 slight nit-pick though - the wire from you sub o_0 it would look tidier if you ran it under and along the parcel shelf and then down the back of the seats instead of having the wire dangle down

if you are putting in another sub in in a box you are going to have the subs playing different frequencys and that will just confuse the sound. you will be best getting a double sub box and putting the subs in it. this way the subs will have the same air space, then you will need to make shore the subs are playing the same frequency and volume.

i dont like how its set up mate, id sell the free air sub at least, 6x9s wont work well with a sub in the boot, they will be getting distorted

IMO i would get rid of the 6x9's and then put the sub you have in the self in a box like you have already but at the other side of the boot and get some comp's amped up front if you dont already.
But if you like what your doing nothing i can do is there lol.

if you disconnect the 6x9s and play the sb only you will notice the cones on the 6x9s will move without being connected, the sub is pumping air around your boot therefore will make them distort, components imo are so much better, ive been there with 6x9s and im so glad i changed to components
read the 6x9s sticky too

If your putting another sub in id say use two boxes of the same size or use a double box.
