Hi I'm Emiel from the Netherlands, 27 years old and automotive engineer. I have driven two years a AX GT, very nice car, but no I bought a new Saxo 1.6 16V VTS 2002.

Wow what a difference.

At this moment the car is stock, have only a K&N replacement filter. The first mods are gonna be, lowering the car 40mm, Koni yellow, Remus racing exhaust (with titanium tail pipe).

Next month I will test K&N's new GENII kit on my car, it will probaly gain 8-10bhp, will see I shall keep so informed. By the way I work for the R&D department of K&N in the Netherlands. So I want to see no Green or BMC stuff. LOL.

Cheers and see ya!!!

Hi Niall,

Nice picture, does the air-scoop really work? Is it a total Green kit or only the round filter which is supplied by Green.

Thanks!!

Not sure if it really works (apart from making a lot of noise), not had it on the rolling road yet, but the spark plugs are showing signs of under fuelling.

I'm not sure what you mean though, at the time Green were only making them for the 16v VTS so GMC Motorsport made up the steel elbows and Samco hoses to make it fit the 8v VTR. But the air scoop and filter came complete from 'Green'.
