Default chrome(ing) badges

How would i go about getting a chrome affect on the 'citroen' and 'saxo' badges that are on the back of the car similar to the way the front chevrons have a chrome laquer? - can i buy this laquer or do i have to get actual chrome pieces?

Thanks!

AWFUL stuff - NEVER EVER dries or hardens!

Been there, tried it. I spent a shit load on paint n primers n laquers for this n the chrome stuff just does not dry - 5-6 WEEKS later i still left finger PRINT marks and indentations in the paint it was that soft. A twat to get off your skin and stains materials.

I kept it in the warmth, and cold in the garage, just never dried ended up binning the lot.

But give it a go if you fancy, jus thought id share my story! lol

Thanks for the knowledge!- appreciate it.

I have some old badges from another car to practice on so i might give it a go and see if it works- based on what you've said it probably won't- but it will look good if it does.

could be why it didnt dry, did you use plastic primer and sand them down, also did you apply it like a dust over or thick

you could get them dipped but it will cost quite a bit, unless some people were interested in a group buy that is

i dont know really, i just thought it would look good, when i get the vts it will be black you see, and i do think that the badges on the back of corsa's look smart.

I will look into it more when i get it in September.- but would certainly be interested in doing it properly if that meant a group but.
