Won best saxo at FCS, Show and shine was at Trax

What are the prices of ST's these days? I'll be having plenty of disposible income very shorty as I start my graduate job and wanting an everyday car which is abit more prestige than a Saxo. And can drive here, there and everywhere without worringly something might break.

I sold mine cheap to my mum @ 11.5k with all trimmings.. its worth around 12.5k but never advertised it on trader, you can get ST's with more milleage / lesser spec for around 9-10k

Hmmm thanks for that matey. It's looking better than I thought. If the financial market stays the same i'll walk into a Main Dealers in September and see what they do for me. Would have to get it in Orange tbh

There's a few tasty cars there this year ... Looking forward to seeing the Shinyness from everyone. Sucks but mine will be better prepared for Trax, but i'll see what I can do in the short space of time til FCS.

Agreed R26's are awesome ... But I think the 197/200 is a prettier car. Rather have one of them from the Renaultsport range.

Something about the ST's does it for me though. But always wanted RSport ... Anyway that's for the future.

I don't know if the reliability factor would come into play on a RS Megane.
Bit different from Saxo's in that perspective. I don't think i'd even touch it modification wise, that's what i'll have EU52 for.

Did have a think about something from the VXR range but not really for me ... Uber common round this way as well. Could even be a jew bag and save for a Clio V6. But mehhh ...

Brakes are being fitted this weekend ... woop woop.

Agreed V6's rock ... Doesn't need to be stupidly quick because I'm using it for work, won't ever see track, taking work colleagues out, and the 25 minute journey to work. Can't be taking a silly loud Chav Saxo to meetings in a suit and shiz. Especially if it's going abit hardcore relatively soon.

ST's
197's FF
197's Cup
R26's
~ are all similar prices. Will have to test drive and see what I like. Although i've always wanted something RS, now might be the time. But I might be able to get a new 200 on a 0% finance deal. Duno tbh.

V6's are still going for like £15k for a decent one with low mileage. No thanks.

save some pennies and get a second hand 182/197 , that leaves more wonga for the sax and getting messy.

I'd be looking at 2nd hand cars, obv expect the 200.
I think 1*2's are at a stage now where things are starting to break when used everyday. So minimum 197 unless there was a really low milage Trophy.
