Right, had the saxo for a year now and at the time cost me £1600 ("Which Car" reccommended price) and decided i should update what i have had done since i have had the car.

This is the car on day of purchase.

The car had a few problems such as a leaky radiator.

This was quickly fixed by a new Nissens radiator.

Another problem was a war wound on the front bumper.

This was fixed by a quick trip to the sprayshop, will up load a pic later.

The engine bay was suprisingly tidy for a car that had covered 60k

When servicing the engine the bosh super 4's needed a change

So replaced with some NGK Iridium. Pic Soon.

Then came a 8v stainless manifold.

This was followed by a supersprint race centre section and magnex backbox.

Next of was a PT40 kent camshaft, Picture up soon.

Followed by a Superchips remap. Pic Soon.

Shorty after this the rear axle packed up so a quick phonecall to IM AXLES and a nice shiny rear axle was at my front door and fitted.

Then work started on the looks of the car.

For a colour coded and meshed one. Pic soon.

Then The Wheels were replaced with some ford fitment Dezent motion type r's with 20mm hubcentric spacers and 50mm narrow head bolts. Pic Soon.

Thats pretty much it for now as i am awaiting some 283mm Lucas Calipers and will post up remaining pics ASAP.

Right, the passion for the sax is back so thought i'd do something with the engine, after reading all of the advise i went and bought a VTS lump, This cost me £150 with a suspected blown head gasket, as you can see by the oil.

After removing the rocker covers you can see the cams:

Have now taked off the head and found that the head gasket was not the culprit, the oil leak was infact from the cam ladders, as there was no water in the oil or vise versa and the spark plugs were immersed in oil in their "slots??".

Bit of an update on engine, been slow what with buying first house and what not, all stripped, cleaned and placed in position, now waiting for gaskets.
