Ipod Holder Progress (UPDATE 11/11/06)
thought id give it a shot, its going to be for an ipod video, needs a lot more work doing to it but its getting there, next thing to do is to cut the excess of so i get the shape i want and also cut the slot for the ipod, after that ill make some sort of holder bit to hold the ipod at the level and angle i want (got an idea in my head but still need to think it through a bit more, then after that ill be putting some body filler to smooth it all out, havent decided if im going to paint or upholster it a mean i have a load of material left from when i retrimmed the doorcards :
also its my first tim with fibreglass, really is nasty stuff to work with, hope to be making some doorpods soon too so watch this space
(sorry for the poor quality pics again)

was deciding to either lay it flat or stand it up but i still want a tray to put stuff in, once ive put some filler on wil look a load better, then it will be covered in grey suede, cheap alcantara material that i used on doorcards

Door cards instead of using the tray? it needs to be stood up or your going to loose the whole point of doing it... anyone can lay there ipod in there tray.. standing it up is a different matter.
Do a search on SideSport's threads... he made one a while back and it looked mint..
