Saxo Pick-up - update 23/11
Though i would share this with you lot, as you are most likely to see it, or be asked to help me with it.
Im making a saxo pick-up, its from ben_saxo's old white vtr he had for breaking, and he is kindly helping me out where needed
How it started
Then after a bit of angle grinding
We have now fitted a vts rear axle, i have a vts engine with a 1.4 box on it.
Its all going black, and im fitting a mk1 vw caddy front lights and grill.
let me know what you think,

Awsome, will look stunning and with a VTS engine it will go like the clappers. will it be lighter?? or will the bulkhead etc make up for the weight in the roof. also you are going to need alot of strengthening on the rear shell otherwise it will twist like no tommorow the first time you take it out. btw if you need any panels i have loads in white (wings, doors (one damaged), slam panel, grille)

its having a custom 6 point rollcage built, with a cross bar going across the top of the wind screen and one by where the cab will be, with a cross section there.
it will prob be heavier, but it will be different.
i need cheap mk1 wings and doors, any colour so if you have some let me know the price.
i have a vt kit coming for it, im not going to do to much to it, leave it standardish to start.
im going for another smooth dash and its having a touch screen monitor in there for a computer, and im mounting a dome camera on the roof.

yes i am, 6 point roll cage, for stregth, and that includes a bar across the top of the windscreen, one where the cab wall will be put and then a cross section in that aswell to stop it crushing me.

the only main difference is going to be the front grill and the lack of roof at the back.
