Sensor on rear of vts sump
On my vts, there is a sensor on the rear of the sump (oil temp/pressure - I forget which it is now lol). The sump on the new block I have does not have this, and nor does my baffled sump. The new block is out of a 106 Gti, so is this sensor in a different place on the Gti?

If its a mk2, IIRC they are a combined oil level and temperature on the new ones. In that case, it would be on the front of the block.
Just swap your sump and sensors over.
On the VTS, its temp btw.

I have a baffled sump to fit instead, also without the sensor. I may just get the sensor collar cut out of my old sump and welded into the new one tbh

Just get a nut and weld that in, easier and means you have a sump you can sell/ keep spare.

Fairly certain you can buy an adaptor that replaces you're sump drain plug, and allows you to screw the adaptor into that.
But you'd need to check thread sizes etc. Think Demon Tweeks sell them.
As Gabb says - on newer models, the oil pressure and oil temp is combined into one 3 pin plug at the front of the block.

Found the adaptors on Demon Tweeks website. They only do them in M14 thread size, which they say is for Vauxhall/Ford sumps.
Does anyone know what the thread size for the saxo sump plug is? Cant find it on Google
