I let me ex girlfriend have a quick go in my car, big open, empty carpark in the middle of nowhere.. Just to let her get a feel for driving before she's let onto the road..

Now i wonder why i bothered.

I have driven a friends field car around our home made field track one day, that was quite good fun. Well up until the point when the car no longer had any brakes. Then the car was scrapped .

My chum lived on a farm and that car never went on the road, well once he had it anyway. Bloodey good fun though

I'd let/have let mates drive it that i can trust that they wont abuse it as they have a car themselves and respect the fact. It also means driving their cars in return which can be entertaining!
