Since last update the saxo has been in two races
1. Local super battle championship 2nd place
2. National gtcc championship 7th place
For the past week it has been completely dismantled ....
To do list :
Respray in white
cCean and refurbish wiring loom
Disable all abs system from car
Fit new peugeot 406 coupe brake kit
Find bigger master cylinder (opinions plz ) and manufacture new brake lines
Get new suspention (track modified-improved bilstein group N's)
Purchase and place rear torsion and anti roll bars
change all rubber mounts to competition ones
Get the engine cammed and reprogrammed..
And finally get it all back together again in working order!!!!
Here are some pretty bad photos of the car in its present state
Bad quality due to phones camera...
My brother helping me.
Meanwhile we changed all brake disks and pads on my brothers escort cosworth!!!!!

that escort look SO clean!
306 gti-6 master cylinder is a common upgrade on the brembo conversion, although im runinng the original master cylinder, have been for over 1 year now, and its fine, once you get used to the travel in the pedal its fine, i actually prefer it this way now

@ K17NEY Will upload some later havent got any on this pc
@ blackie_2k5 I was told about the pedal travel beeing long , how much travel have you got?? Also i want to change the mc because it only has 2 brake lines coming out towards abs system , so probably changing to 4 line output mc. Also is the braking so far better in the front that it upsets the rear??? thinnking of a brake bias valve

youll want an aftermarket bias valve, im running stock m/c, its fine once you get used to it, it travels an inch or 2 further, but ive never ran out of pedal,
the brakes are violent, you push them hard and youll feel it at the rear, my car is now stripped at rear, untill i was running the power i am now it was never an issue, but now i need more braking force, so ive had the rear step once or twice recently
you "can" run that standard one IF its in good health, but mines fucked so its causing me trouble, its best to just get an adjustable one

No photo update but :
Engine & tranny are out of shell still to go rear axle , tank , servo , steering and torsion bar. Then its getting spot welded , caged and resprayed .
Also got a pair of brake callipers Brembo 406 coupe with original disks and pads
and a set of 15' Compomotives which are in desperate need of refurbing
Still need to order a lot of things from England such as rear axle torsion bars , stiffer bushes , shift light and brake regulator valve
Any ideas or opinions are more than welcome !!
