Finally started again! Ended up scrapping my vtr and salvaging as much of the mods as i could..

Annddd.. got myself this

Picked it up a few weeks ago! so happy with the extra 8v's!

Heres a quick spec list that came on the add for the car!
-Enclosed induction kit
-Toyo proxies all round
-306 gti 283mm brake setup
-Pugsport exhaust system
-4-2-1 manifold
-OZ Racing super turismo alloys
-Lowered 45mm all round with spax dampers and springs
-OMP upper strut brace( i removed as it was bent)
-White twin fan setup
-Baker BM lower engine mount
-Exceedy clutch kit

I haven't got very good pics atm but will try update more tomorrow!

Anyways.. had a few problems.. came out to find the car sitting in a puddle of gearbox oil.. so had to find a new box!

Picked one up fairly quickly! while fitting it.. the engine mount decided to snap! resulting in my engine sitting on the floor

While that was off.. i thought i solve my overheating problems.. got myself a Nissens radiator! and fitted that

I ended up having a few more problems.. such a the top rad hose with bleed nipple on.. that burst.. suchhh a chore getting to it!

Little bit more to add.. had some goodies in the post the other day! these came along with my new rad!

Got a few to many ties.. but they may come in handy!
Also went and picked a set of these up today! SO happy with them!

Heaters blowing cold air!
remote central locking nowhere to be seen.
Passenger door hinge pretty much fallen of.

Anyways..

Got the new seats and harnesses fitted (harness not in this picture). I Love them! lol

Gave her a clean, Badge of being re painted.

Its coming along nicely mate! One thing I noticed is your front arch isnt sitting right, has it been glued on in the wrong place or something? It sits above the bumper a bit much

So.. small update! got my passenger door hinge welded up! so goodo to be able to use the door again and not climb over.

Anyways.. not much luck with this car.. starter motor decided to stick on! resulting in this..

so i took the opportunity to get rid of the 2nd click of ignition as it kept jamming in the barrel and put the 2nd click onto a switch like so...

Few relays and chopping around i put the starting wires onto a button, haven't mounted yet but will get around to it this week! pretty happy with it.. some people may not agree with the button but it was easier than sourcing a new ignition barrel and used parts i only used parts i found in the garage

oh and some carbon
only small piece but..

Thats all for now.. hopefully get the interior sorted, maybe something painted inside to smarten it up a little! trying to sort out a good theme.. ideas welcome! not black wheels though!
