Default VTR Shock absorber question

My W reg half facelift VTR has a rattle (Yes its a Saxo ) from the rear suspension, I'm pretty sure its because the bush at the bottom of the shock has completely worn away and the shock is making contact with the arm next to it.

A friend gave me a pair of crap after market (ta or something) rear shocks to see if it would stop the rattle but they don't fit. They touch the arms and wont mount up properly.

Does anyone have any pics of the rear shock on the car so I can check im not being a numpty and is there any difference in the fitment of the shock over the 106/Saxo models i.e 1.1-VTS?
