No you on about the ebay "chips"

The FSE Power Boost Valve replaces the standard fuel pressure regulator fitted to the engine. On acceleration the Power Boost Valve will increase the fuel pressure in the fuel rail at 1.7 times the standard rate. This enriches the mixture under acceleration which will improve the driveability of your vehicle.

It replaces the fuel pressure regulator mate! but all it does is enrich the mixture under acceleration, he won't feel and gains and he will have to top up on petrol a little more often. tbh there is no need to adjust fuel pressure unless your planning on camming mate imo!

no -they don,t work ,on a modern car, presuming it is running ok at present -used to work on old ecus, -buts that ten years ago,std ecu corrects fuel so quick that any accel enrichment will be very qucikly tuned out by ecu- so no save your money .
a remap will not work -to do this ,and if its a 3 plug ecu ,very little if any gains will be got -on std car- remap when you have changed engine config
