I've seen loads of people making their own threads and though i might as well get in on the action!
I've only had my sax for a couple of months so dont expect to much peeps!
I bought my vtr a month after wrecking my old 1.1, silly move but i've always wanted one!
So here it goes!
First pic is of my saxo standard
I didn't want to change too much at first so asked the amazing people of photoshop to modify my car. As you can see from the below picture, its been lowered, smoked lights, dimma grille and tinted windows. *thanks to predator_vtr*
I loved what i saw so started hunting down some parts!
This is how she stands today, with a dimma grille and smoked front and rear lights.
I've made a couple of other changes, such as new head unit, chrome citroen & saxo lettering on the back and removing the door pins oh and a chrome filler cap!
I will either next be adding tints or colour coding bumpers and once i can afford it, lowering her about 40mm.
Here's a picture of her colour coded by photoshop "FurioAL"
I've just changed the door pins with smaller gromitts as the old ones looked too big.
This weekend i've gotten one step further to getting my car how I want it! I've painted my Dimma grille, removed the black strips from the door pillers and painted my rocker cover (old one was rusted as fok!)
But first off, yesterday afternoon I was on my way home when I heard a loud noice, looked behind me to see my spare wheel rolling down the road!!! The cage holding my wheel was dragging on the floor!!! I had to pull to the side of the road and find my god damn spare wheel!!!!
Finally found it but couldn't put the wheel back as the bracket holding the cage up was missing!!! I couldn't stay where I was so I moved further up and found a lay-by where I found some hardcore and some old cable. I managed to tie it all up and get home... thank fcuk for that!!!!
Got some pics of it held up with rope (old wire is in the boot, see pics)
Well back to the mods!!!
Below are some pics of my rocker cover!
And some pics of my painted dimma grille
And finally pics of me and my dad removing the door strips. A messy job but worth it!!!
Hope you like, please let me know
