Default strange things are occurring.

hey guys,

have any of you ever came across this issue before.... when I first brought my vtr the water temp gauge wasn't working so I changed the blue temp sensor which controls the gauge and it still didn't work so replaced the green temp sensor which I know is ecu temp sensor so went for a drive and it was working win!! but it's stopped working again now but it keeps doing this strange thing where it goes from no temp to overheating to no temp to overheating to no temp then it drops to rock bottom iv got a video but my iPhone won't upload it. this happens soon as I turn the key so obviously the cars not overheating Lols.

now I know it's fuel pump relays knackered and is currently bodged by the rac of course but surely this can't effect the temp gauge..

can anyone help

Has the dash been out? Could it be a problem with teh connection? I had this with my fuel gauge in the VTS

as far as I know the dash hasn't been out but I'll check all the dash connections Craig.
