Default My progress - NEW PICS!!!

FOR SALE £1300, 69K miles, X reg... Current quick pics

quick pics

PROGRESS;

Ive been wanting to get myself a little more active with modding my saxo myself. I wanted to try something that wasn't going to cost much to do or to put right if it all went horribly wrong. I desided i'd take out some of the interior & paint it, adding new leather door slots to the door cards.

heres some pics so far

Next things to fit

And just random bits and bobs that i felt were on topic

Well its a start Im attualy really chuffed with the turnout. Ive fitted the consol & vent surrounds and they look crackin... the door pannles will be fitted as soon as my new door speakers arrive & will post some pics.
Got some new parts to add, as you can see, the front bumper i have on just now has had better days, hence the replacement! The boot flush im thinkin about selling as its a fiberglass cover. As for the wood in the boot, im currently mid build of a new parcleshelf with 6x9 pods & will be creating a fake floor and sides to blend the subs into the boot walls.

any thoughts, tips or just general advice/banter, feel free to post it.

That little gun was a life saver mate. £3 odd out of halfords and works a real treat, a MUST if you ask me

Ive got pics here of the center console & vent surrounds , the door cards i will fit tomorow to let you see what its like mate, but ill needa take em off again when the new speakers come

I bought plastic primmer (clear) from B&Q and used royal blue - 1 can of primer (about 400ml i think) was enough to do about 4 good coats on each item. and 2/3 cans of blue - i liked to give alot of coats.

I have also descovered something really REALLY good.

I was in pound land (ha) and found a lil fake car alarm light emitter... I know - it sounds really shit. But i bought one just to see. It fits perfectly into the ash tray slot, it is sensored so it comes on only at night and it looks really realistic - oh and it costs £1 - fair play its no cat 1 alarm... but it may just save your install one time (and you'd never know)

I have pick of this aswell what ill now upload - im also going to make a tread called "Budget security for £1.50" - search it in about half an hour for more details & pics

thanks for all the replies
