Well, after over 18months of being a member.. iv finally got a saxo! And what a beast it is.
I'll start with my previous cars, my first car was a 1.2 corsa c sxi.. i owned this for around 14 months and it was my pride and joy (i even used to show it off on here in a progress thread
) ha. I have over 100 pics of it, i used to loveeee it!

The mods it had when i bought it were tints, lowered 30mm, aftermarket exhaust & straight through pipe and Ace 216 17" alloy wheels.
When i sold it i had sprayed the front V grill black, black angel eyes and 8k HIDs, refurbed and sprayed wheels black, smoked indicators, yellow brake calipers, ccuk stickers.
unfortunately i dinted the door a couple of weeks before i sold it, and id put 13000miles on the clock since having it.. but still managed to get £50 more than what i paid for it!
Then car no. 2 came along, a gold astra coupe 1.8 bertone coupe. It looked alright when i bought it for £1950 but after a week the problems started to occur.
I travelled to scotland to pick this up and when i got there the wheels well needed refurbing and it had a couple of little scuffs and bruises but as id travelled so far and the engine 'seemed' decent enough i just bought it.
After a week i noticed some major issues. This car has caused me and my family so much stress since buying it it is unbelievable.
It wouldnt go over 100mph, it was guzzling fuel SO bad because of either overfuelling or a fuel leak (18mpg!!! and this was changing gear at 2k just to try save fuel cos i was skint), and then to top it off the manifold started blowing and i mean blowing bad.. At this point i just wanted rid of it already i was so sick of it and lost all enjoyment of driving.
I advertised it online, got a little bit of interested and waited for logbook to arrive. I then had one guy very interested in it, willing to pay £1900. He was the only person to offer me over £1500 for it. I told him EVERYTHING that he asked over the phone including dints, scuffs, wheels manifold, power loss, everything! and he was still interested. At this point i had logbook and had a deposit on a car.
I had a friday off work as he said he was coming to view/buy so i took the day off because he could only come early on so i understood.. that morning i got a TEXT off my boss telling me im sacked even though i gave him a very good blag. So that was the start of the worst day ever, i tried ringing the guy but no answer so i decided "f*ck it iv had the day off im selling this car today!" i went around a few garages one offered me £1450 and one offered me 3 figures. I was so tempted to take the 1450 but i left it for the time being and headed home, on the way home the buyer rang me and said he still wanted it and was really sorry but something had happened and couldnt make it but still wants it! so after having these uber low offers and no interest online and him saying he had the 1900 waiting i said "I'll bring it down to you!" So i set off with me in my car and my girlfriend in hers on a 130mile trip each way! Hoping to only come back in one car. I got there and he didnt like it, he said its "too much of a risk" to buy. I was fucking devistated, i even dropped to 1400 just so he'd take it so i didnt have to drive the pile of shit home and he didnt want it so i brought it home and we ended up doing 520 miles between me and my girlfriend and he gave me £30 petrol!!!!!! Big lesson learnt, dont EVER deliver a car unless theyve paid you already.
Luckily 2 days later i managed to sell it for £1500. I just wanted rid of it so badly i took whatever. Unfortunately i lost £500 in 3 weeks but i learnt a lot of lessons with this car.
NOW onto car number 3!!! The one iv been waiting for for a long time!
GOD is this car fun!!! Its just sooooo nice to drive and fun, sounds amazing and its so fast lol. Im super careful in it though, not only with it being a new car to me but because iv seen my mate almost crash bad in a saxo and also the insurance. I am paying.... are u ready..... £215 a month TPFT with mum and dad on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but its worth every penny.. im gonna hopefully cancel in 3 months when im 21, i will of held my license 2 years then too.

Future plans.. (dont have many to be honest!)
-My own wheels - Just bought some black vtr wheels putting them on today.
-another bucket seat for are lass
-maybe smoked lights on the back
