Great guide, one quick noob question, once the wheel is off, do you need to take anything else off to put on a boss and after market wheel?

Great guide bud! Ive just got anew wheel and this has saved me posting 'anyone done a guide'!
One question though, Ive got the resistor for disabling the airbag light but need to know does it go between 2 existing wires or on the end of a wire and then to + ???
Cheers

Hey,
I have a bit of the problem here, after taking the steering wheel, I am left with the airbag ring, but I cannot take it out as the orange wire is too short, cannot pull it out lol
Whats should I do?

Any one?
Could I just cut the wire then re-solder it?

thanks alot pal.
Mk 1 dials are the same to take out only difference is the air bag ring doesn't pull out as far and there's 5 loom connectors on the back of them instead of 2

Did anyone else find that the two T30s in the back of the wheel are totally stuck? Mine won't turn one bit.

Oooh one question. I've currently got a 1.1 Eastcoast with the 110mph speedo and the clocks. If I buuy another set with the revometer instead of the clock, will I have the pick up already to make the rev counter work?
