is it wise to drill my airbox to make it sound better, yes or no??

just get a cheapo max power universal air filter if its sound your after

as long as you drill it before the filter you wont have problems. but if you want a roar get a cheap kn or pipercross they were loud as hell on the furio i had.

like said above. if your going to do it make sure its before the filter.
you really can get some cheap cone filters about. i even have one gathering dust in the garage that came with my s1

on most cars ive had they acctully run better with drilled airbox plus a panel filter
induction kits just tend to suck in hot air from the engine bay

yes but then its got the bottom of the airbox to cool down a bit plus go thru the filter?
induction kits just have the filter

yeh when it looks like a dutch cheese it sounds awesome, i prefer 13 and a half holes though
